About This Blog

Hi everyone! This is my very first blog post on Musings of Kelly Fabian. I've had multiple attempts at starting a blog, hopefully this one will continue though!

This blog will be a mishmash of daily life, art, poetry, music, teaching, travel, organization, study, and whatever else I feel like. Please feel free to share your own thoughts and feelings in the comments.

I am studying to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at San Jose State University. Music has been the biggest part of my life since I joined marching band on cymbals in the 5th grade and picked up trumpet and finished my last year of band 12 years later.

Manta rays are my favorite animals, along with cats (they take over my blog sometimes. I apologize in advance.) I like animals and insects, especially sea creatures. I love hiking, swimming, stargazing, snorkeling, and collecting shells, feathers, and smooth rocks that fit nicely in my hand. Other things I enjoy include good puns, reading, playing video games, scarves, crazy earrings, drinking tea, and awesome high fives. In my spare time that does not include practicing music, I enjoy photography, origami, writing, watercolor painting, video editing, calligraphy, and making pressed flower bookmarks.
